We stand amazed as we see God's hand at work through the ministry He's given us here!
We say with the psalmist, "You are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God."

Praise God with us...
1) We have to buy more chairs for the Alfa Center!  During September, on Sundays, English service in the morning is averaging forty-five and Portuguese service in the evening fifty-five. There have been people saved almost every week.
2) New believers' class started on Sunday afternoons before the evening celebration. Bill was able to get the materials ready and the course is going well. There are fifteen people coming for it.  Also we have discipleship classes during the week. We plan to have our first baptism in November.
3) Youth group has started with over twenty coming out on Saturday evenings.

Pray with us...
1) Friends' Day was changed from September 30 to October 7 because of a date mix-up with the chácara (country house) that we'll be using.  There are already over one hundred signed up for the day. Activities are planned from ten in the morning until six in the evening.  Bill will be preaching for the service.  Pray that God will use this opportunity to reach more folks for Himself.
2) Our field administrator Dave Southwell will be coming the first of November for several days of strategic planning for our future in Bauru.
