Subject: Spoelhof Prayer Prompter - October, 2004

God tests our faith so that we may trust His faithfulness.

Praise God with us:

1)      September 15 marked the twenty-fifth anniversary of our arrival in Brazil.
2)      “Couples Night Out” dinner was a success. Along with most of our folks, there were two new couples that came out.
3)      "Living by the Book" class has completed its first month.  Pray for Ben as he leads this study.
4)      Doctors say that Sue’s blood levels are finally where they should be. Pray that they stay there.

Pray with us:

1)      Wisdom for counseling some difficult situations.
2)      October is our month of missions at church with special activities and missionary speakers each weekend.
3)      Our annual Friends’ Day is Oct.17, with service and activities during the day at a country house just outside of town.
