We appreciate your prayers for our ministry.  Here are some praise and prayer items to remember this month.

Praise:
- Thanks for praying for our Friends' Day on October 7.  We had a tremendous day!  After almost a week of rain, it was a beautiful sunny day.  There were about 160 people out.  An evangelistic message was preached about the best friend anyone can have - Jesus.  For pictures and more information check out our website or click Bauru Team website (linked to ours) then go to the lower left side and click Friends Day.  People commented  on how comfortable and welcomed they felt.  Our friends Milton and Patricia invited forty friends out, most who have never heard the gospel.

- We are averaging between fifty and sixty in the Portuguese services.  The new chairs we ordered arrived but are five centimeters shorter than the others. The company agreed to exchange them, but the process will take another three weeks.

Pray:
- Our field administrator Dave Southwell and his wife Ev will be with us for five days (Nov 3-7) of master planning as a field, as well as individual meetings with each of the couples.  We are their last stop of a seven week trip around South America.  Pray that Dave will have the strength as he leads the meetings, and that we will have good vision and strategy for planning the future ministry in this region of Brazil.
