Praise God with us:
1) We had a safe trip back to
Brazil,
and immediately became immersed in the ministry.
2)
We were very encouraged after our first meeting with the church
leadership team. They did a fine job of “holding down the fort” in our
absence, and most of them wanted to continue on with the jobs they were
doing. They have taken ownership of their church. Mario did a fine job
pastoring, but admitted that he was very tired, between his regular job
and leading the church.
Pray with us:
1) For wisdom as we fit in to
the program here.
2)
For patience and perseverance as day to day new “situations” crop up
that test us. That we remember always that God is in control, and learn
to just take one day at a time.
3)
For a youth retreat that we will be heading up during the Carnaval
holiday here (Feb.25-28). As we get older, these retreats seem to
become a little harder!
4) For purchase
of land to build or a building to call our own.
